Ed Markey's listless campaign & non descript 37 year hard left DC partisan crony record highlighted by; anti jobs votes on Mass Medical devices, Fishing industry killing NOAA votes, Manufacturing job killing NAFTA votes, Raising taxes on middle class 271 time, Living in Maryland full time - it is clear Ed Markey is out of touch with Massachusetts voters. Other than Liberal state run media outlets Boston Globe and Cape Codder Times Gabriel Gomez is dominating the endorsement race. Debate round one - Gabriel Gomez hurt the older, slower opponent - Ed Markey

Not only did +Gabriel Gomez look better than Markey which was a given, he came across as the more reasonable, grounded and centrist candidate here in very Blue Massachusetts. Markey was exposed for what he is, a 40 year DC career hard left partisan politician. That lands him smack in the middle of the mess and dysfunction that is DC.

Forget the Liberal media pundits and both parties spinners. Gabriel Gomez came across very well in tonight's debate. Just like the primaries, in comparison to older career politicians Gabriel's message, life story and personailty resonates with voters. Ask Dan Winslow, Mike Sullivan about how that works.

If I was in Team Markey right now I would be more than a little concerned. And they are - bringing in Obama next weeks validates that....

At today’s House Ways and Means Committee hearing on the IRS scandal, one member tried to suggest that the victims of the IRS scandal are to blame because they chose to apply for tax-exempt status. He even called the IRS hearings “political theater.”

This is outrageous. We know for a fact that people were singled out because of their beliefs. A few weeks ago, former IRS commissioner Steven Miller admitted that groups on the other side were not given the same treatment.

We can’t stand for this. When a government agency abuses its power, we need to hold it accountable.

This is the arrogance of big government. This is the danger of a Washington that believes it knows better than you. We need to fight back.
