A Dozen Democrats Flip-Flop On $500 Million Tax Hike

Boston- A dozen Democrats flipped-flopped on the massive tax hike and job killing tech-tax  legislation yesterday. First opposing the bill in June only to support a veto override yesterday, these Democrats caved and hit taxpayers and working families with a gas-tax and approved a technology tax widely panned as a job killer:

James Arciero           James Dwyer
Brian Ashe            Colleen Garry
Sean Curran            Danielle Gregoire
Josh Cutler             Paul Heroux
Stephen DiNatale           Thomas Petrolati
Diana DiZoglio            Jonathan Zlotnik

“A dozen Democrats caved in to the Beacon Hill bosses and voted for a massive tax hike that even some Democrats said will hit middle class families hard,” said Kirsten Hughes, MassGOP Chairman. “What is more disappointing is that every Democrat rejected a tax free plan sponsored by Republican leaders that would have met the state’s transportation needs. Clearly these politicians would rather pass the buck to the people than fight government waste.”

Why ObamaCare is a train wreck - Summarized in one Picture

Forget the 20+ Obamacare taxes that are destroying jobs, forget that the IRS is going to enforce it, forget that it is not "free" and is in fact skyrocketing costs, forget that King Obama had to delay the Obamacare business mandate to save Democrat seats in #2014, forget that Socialized medicine will lead to rationed and watered down healthcare... This flowchart exemplifies the train wreck that is Obamacare.

Massachusetts: Second Round of Public Hearings Scheduled on Monday
Next Monday, July 8, the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security is scheduled to hear 58 pieces of legislation that would impact your Second Amendment rights if passed and enacted into law.  This public hearing will take place at Assumption College located at 500 Salisbury Street in Worcester.
It is very important that pro-Second Amendment supporters attend this hearing to voice their opposition to the proposed reactionary anti-gun legislation that turns law-abiding citizens into victims or criminals.  We need our elected officials to understand that restricting the rights of lawful and responsible gun owners is not the appropriate solution to reduce crime.  Gun control is not crime control.
By attending this hearing, either by speaking or simply being present, you will have a chance to stand up for freedom and express your opposition to these misguided anti-gun proposals.  Input received at this public hearing will determine the direction the Massachusetts General Court takes on our Second Amendment rights in this legislative session.
It is crucial that gun owners, sportsmen and supporters of the Second Amendment attend this hearing and firmly voice opposition to ineffective anti-gun legislation.  If you cannot attend this important public hearing, please contact your state legislators TODAY to express your opposition to Governor Patrick’s bill and any proposed legislation that would infringe upon your Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
