GOMEZ LAUNCHES ONLINE SEQUESTER PETITION CALLING FOR "NO SOLUTION, NO PAYCHECK FOR POLITICIANS"
Boston, MA - Gabriel Gomez, Republican
candidate for U.S. Senate in the Massachusetts open seat special election,
launched an online petition insisting that lawmakers not be handed paychecks
until they come up with a solution for sequestration.
The petition, called “No Solution, No Paycheck,” calls for leaders in Washington to give up their paychecks until they “figure out a common sense approach to these cuts.”
“Washington has created this problem,” Gomez said. “Congress bottled up a virus – the sequester – and mailed it to themselves. It’s coming in the mail today.”
“Until the politicians in Washington, including Congressmen Markey and Lynch, figure out a common sense solution to these cuts, they should not get a paycheck,” Gomez said. “It’s that simple.”
The petition can be signed on Gomez’s campaign website at http://www.gomezforma.com/no-solution-no-paycheck/.

No Solution, No Paycheck
The sequester is a problem caused by Washington. Until our leaders fix this, neither President Obama nor members of Congress should take a paycheck. That includes Congressmen Markey and Lynch.
Congress has bottled up a virus – the sequester – and mailed it to themselves. It’s coming in the mail today.
Until our leaders figure out a common sense approach to these cuts, they should not get a paycheck. It’s that simple. Sign our petition today if you agree: no solution, no paycheck.
